Our weekly Sunday service is an essential part of our life together. We are meeting at the Hillhouse Community Centre in Hamilton at 10:30am each Sunday morning. Directions can be found here.

The message from the service each week is also available on our youtube channel.

The service includes live worship with singing, a message from God’s Word and an opportunity to connect and enjoy community as a church family. There’s something so powerful about being in the presence of God with others in a worship environment and we’re continuing to make our services as safe as they can be.

We have special arrangements for children too. Primary school aged children go our half way through the service for their own group and we also have a creche facility for pre-school children.

Registering for Test & Protect

Following the latest guidance from the government, to support NHS Scotland Test and Protect, we are continuing to record the name and contact details of attendees at our services. You can help us gather this essential data in a number of ways similar to those you will find in cafes and restaurants…

Reserved Seating

Although social distancing has been lifted, we are still reserving a seating area for those who prefer to maintain social distancing for the moment. Please indicate this request on the booking form.

Face coverings

Face coverings are still mandatory by law in Scottish places of worship. Consequently, face coverings must be worn by all worshippers (aged 5 and over) attending the gathering at all times unless you have a medical exemption from doing so. More details can be found here

To minimise infection risk we will not be taking an offering in the service. If you would like to give your tithes and offerings please do this online – https://www.harvesthamilton.org.uk/giving/

Close/ Physical contact

We encourage you to be mindful about engaging in close and/or physical contact with people at church services – don’t assume that others feel comfortable with close contact and let’s continue to help one another feel safe whilst also enjoying the easing of restrictions to the extent that you and those you interact with are comfortable.

Prayer Ministry

We are not currently providing close contact prayer ministry at our services, but we would still love to be praying for any needs you may have at this time. You can submit a prayer request here

After the service

After the service we will be providing refreshments. At the end of the service the service host will give clear directions of how this will be managed in a way so as to minimise the risk of spreading any infection. Please be seated whilst taking refreshments during which you can remove your face covering.

If you or anyone in your household has been diagnosed with, or are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 (fever, high temperature, persistent coughing, breathing difficulties/shortness of breath, loss of taste/smell), you must not attend the service.

If you have been in close contact with someone who is experiencing symptoms or, or has been diagnosed with, COVID-19, or you are required to self-isolate due to returning from international travel, please stay at home.
