Coming in 2024 as part of our new Community Hub.

As a Parent and Toddler Group Team Member, you will play a central role in creating a nurturing and engaging environment for parents and their toddlers within the community. Your enthusiasm for early childhood development and commitment to fostering community connections will contribute to a positive experience for participants.


Responsibilities:

– Plan and organise age-appropriate activities and play sessions for toddlers.

– Welcome parents and toddlers warmly, creating a friendly and inclusive atmosphere.

– Facilitate group discussions and provide parenting tips and support.

– Coordinate and set up play areas, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment.

– Encourage social interaction among toddlers and parents to foster community connections.

– Communicate effectively with group members, providing information about upcoming sessions and events.

– Collaborate with fellow facilitators to plan and execute special events or outings.

– Attend team meetings to share insights, discuss group dynamics, and coordinate future activities.

– Uphold health and safety standards and respond to the needs of toddlers and parents.

– Foster a sense of community and support among parents within the group.


Qualifications:

– Enthusiasm for working with toddlers and parents.

– Knowledge of age-appropriate activities and early childhood development.

– Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

– Reliability and punctuality in attending group sessions and events.

– Creativity in planning engaging and educational activities for toddlers.

– Team-oriented mindset and willingness to collaborate with fellow facilitators.

– Respect for the church’s values and a commitment to creating a positive and supportive environment.

– Prior experience in early childhood education, parenting support, or group facilitation is advantageous.
